昨年に引き続き韓国の陶芸家 Hong Du Hyeon の個展を開催いたします。
Hong Du Hyeonは、韓国・大邱に生まれ、日本で故鯉江良二氏に師事した後、
韓国慶尚北道の山間に窯を築き、薪窯による作陶を続けています。
朝鮮白磁への深い敬意を礎としながらも、その単なる再現に留まることなく、
日本と韓国、二つの陶芸文化の経験を通して独自の造形世界を築いています。
柔らかな白の表情、静かな緊張感を湛えた器の姿、そして土と炎が織りなす豊かな景色。
作品には古典の精神が息づきながらも、現代の暮らしに自然に寄り添う存在意義を再構築して作品作りに取り組んでいます。
本展では、白磁と染付けを中心に、作家の長年取り組んでいる茶器を中心にご紹介いたします。
薪窯ならではの豊かな表情と、手仕事の温もりに満ちた作品群をぜひご高覧ください。

2008年 日本、岐阜県にて修行 (鯉江良二工房)
2011年 帰国後、韓国慶尙北道淸道郡にて独立
2012年 Edanvally Resort <梁山>にて初個展
以後、每年個展・企画展出展 (約150回)
2025年wad+で日本初個展
現在 穴窯で朝鮮白磁を中心に作陶中
洪斗賢展オープニング茶会 -記録の記憶-
一杯のお茶を飲むまでには、思いのほか多くの手間がある。
湯を沸かし、茶を淹れ、器に注ぐ。
もしかすると、その手間こそが心地よいのかもしれない。
お茶を飲む時間と、そのそばに寄り添う器についての記録である。

We are pleased to announce the first solo exhibition in a year by Korean ceramic artist Hong Du Hyeon.
Born in Daegu, South Korea, Hong Du-Hyeon studied under the late Ryoji Koie in Japan before establishing his own kiln in the mountains of Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, where he continues to create pottery using a wood-fired kiln.
While deeply respecting Korean white porcelain, his work goes beyond mere reproduction, building a unique artistic world through his experiences with both Japanese and Korean ceramic cultures.
His works are characterized by soft white hues, a quiet tension in their form, and rich landscapes woven from earth and fire. While imbued with the spirit of classical art, his work reconstructs its significance in naturally fitting into modern life.
This exhibition will primarily feature white porcelain and underglaze blue porcelain, focusing on tea ceremony utensils, a subject the artist has long explored. We invite you to enjoy the rich expressions unique to wood-fired kilns and the warmth of handcrafted work.We sincerely look forward to your visit.

2011 After returning to Korea, started his own business in Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea
2012 First solo exhibition at Edanvally Resort (Yangsan)
Since then, solo exhibitions and projects are held every year.

Currently working on Korean white porcelain at Anagama
